Manroland Sheetfed delivers 100th press after acquisition

Manroland Sheetfed has delivered its 100th press since its acquisition by Langley Holdings on 9 February 2012.

At Drupa last year, Manroland India signed a deal for installation of a six-colour Roland 706 HiPrint with an inline coater at Hira Print’s new printing facility in Mumbai. 

The Roland 706 HiPrint kit, which was installed in September last year, features PPL, Manroland’s automated plate change and fast makeready features such as QuickChange options. The company Hira’s new plant is catering to high quality commercial and packaging print market with products such as catalogues, brochures and magazines. 

“We are delighted to reach this important milestone of delivering the 100th press and our strong performance in India in 2012 echoes this achievement. Manroland India has recorded a strong growth and positive results in 2012 in overall press sales, spare parts and service business,” said Natasha Tandon, head of marketing at  Manroland India.

In 2012, Manroland has performed well in the pre-owned segments, installing 75 pre-owned units, which included six-colour plus configurations with single and double coaters. “These machines are capable of producing value-added print effects that are in high demand in the packaging market,” added Natasha.

Recently, Manroland India added new products – Bowe Systec and Printcom, to its product portfolio in India.

Manroland India has six offices in India and more than 23 factory trained engineers and channel partners spread across eight centres in India.
