Madurai celebrates Printers Day by contributing to a cause

As part of Printers’ Day celebrations on 24 February, the Madurai District Offset Printers Association (MADOPA) paid tributes to Johanus Alios Senefelder, who discovered offset printing.

Every year, MADOPA celebrates Printers’ Day in a novel way by making contributions to the needy.

This year, the organisation celebrated Printers’ Day at CSI School and Home for Differently Abled, Pasumalai, Madurai. K Rajasekaran, secretary, MADOPA, presided over the function, M Sankar Anand, vice-president, gave the welcome address. V Muniappan, president, SIPA, was felicitated the occasion. R Ayyapan, R Velumani, K Ravi, V Sundarrajan, B Rajagopal, A Ravi Chandran and J Saravanan attended the function.

Members of the organisation generously contributed to the cause and presented ceiling fans, chairs, rice, tooth paste, brush and other amenities to the children.
