Labelexpo Europe 2017: Rotometrics’ RotoRepel no-stick treatment for solid and flexible cutting dies

Rotometrics will showcase the no-stick treatment for solid and flexible cutting dies, RotoRepel. This enables dies to run more than four times longer and reduces adhesive build-up.

Keith Laakko, marketing and business development, Rotometrics, said, “We have expanded our product offering with the merger of RotoMetrics and Electro Optic, the specialist in thin film flexible dies and a pioneer in coatings for abrasive material conversion.”

Electro Optic will feature three types of flexible dies at the show – DuraLine flexible die for long lasting die on the most abrasive materials; GoldLine Special for very thin films; and DuraLine Special for difficult materials like Tyvek, Primax, polyester, polyexact etc.

Besides this, the company will conduct care, maintenance and handling demonstrations.

“We are confident in the growth of the category and look forward to developing solutions that help converters do more with regard to thinner film liners, abrasive and challenging materials, and help them run faster and longer than previously possible,” added Laakko.
