Label Expo India set to tap the the boom in the label market

Preparations are in full swing for the Labelexpo India show which will take place at Pragati Maidan in New Delhi from 8-11 December.

Over 150 international and local exhibitors are expected to present technology and materials, launch new products and give live demonstrations to visitors over four days.

As a run up to the November show, a series of road shows have been held in Chennai, Mumbai and Ludhiana – all of which proved to be of enormous success.

The first roadshow was held in Chennai which was hosted by Nilpeter and Proteck. There the attendees had a sneak preview of the new Nilpeter FB3300 Servo press built by the company in India. Starting from the infeed, the press incorporates a convenient splicing table with pneumatic hold-down bars which speeds roll splicing, while the unique S-wrap dancer system ensures accurate tension control.

The second roadshow took place in Mumbai and was hosted by SMI Coated Products. Presentations were made by speakers: Vivek Kapoor, president, LMAI; Hemant Bhotica, president, BMPA; Roger Pellow, managing director, Labelexpo and Andy Thomas, group managing editor.

The third roadshow took place in Ludhiana and was attended by more than 180 printers, including Parveen Agarwal, president and Kamal Chopra, general secretary of the Offset Printers' Association.

The road shows brought the printer community together to network and discuss the latest innovations in the industry in preparation for the show. Attendees also got an exclusive preview of all the developments that will be on display at Labelexpo India in December.
