The Kraft grade papers are machine glazed, agro-based, high burst and tensile strength, between the range of 50 to 80 gsm and are available in reels. These kraft papers can be used for several applications such as for high strength bags, food packaging bags, grocery bags, garment packaging bags, fast food carry bags and more.

Shiv K Bansal from Yash Papers, said, “The future plan is to get into the flexible packaging solution, which will be 100% compostable.”

Established in 1981, by KK Jhunjhunwala, Yash started by producing low grammage Kraft paper. Beginning with one paper-making machine, the company successfully doubled the capacity on that machine, went on to add a second one in 1991 to produce more than triple of its paper-making capacity. This has helped the company establish its hold over the low grammage Kraft market.
