Yuji Nakata, managing director of Minolta Business Solutions, said, “Customers are constantly demanding higher quality, faster turn-around and the ability to print on a variety of media. The photo printing market in India has emerged as one of the most promising markets of digital printing. It is certainly growing and we are looking to tap the marketplace."

Nakata added, "All the Konica Minolta devices that we will be showcased at CEIF 2016 had a good feedback from both partners and the customers. Our customers have seen the growth in machines that increases the production and reduces the number of steps in the production process, right from design to the finished products.”

Bizhub Press C1100 is can print on a wide variety of media with consistent productivity at all gsms and does auto duplex for media up to 350 gsm. Bizhub press C70hc is with a toner technology. The device is capable of reproducing the colours very close to the RGB colour gamut which makes it very near to traditional photo lab quality. Konica Minolta has installed more than 400 C70hc machines in the country.

The MGI Jetvarnish 3DS is designed and manufactured by MGI with Konica Minolta technologies to help the printers expand their services to include new spot UV and 3D tactile varnishing capabilities. The Jetvarnish 3DS can convert regular printed output into high-margin spot UV printed sheets and even higher margin 3D embossed jobs up to 100 microns of varnish applied to the sheet, which lifts the image from the page and adds a higher level of sheen to colours.

The Bizhub press C71hc comes with an optional banner tray to support the printing on media up to 13x47-inches and it  provides the customers to print on a large format of photo albums. The machine also comes with workflow software Print Xpress to support the customer printing process and cater to wide variety of formats.
