Komori appoints Insight Communication its all-India Komori representative

Japanese press manufacturer, Komori Corporation has appointed New Delhi-based Insight Communication & Print Solutions as its all-India distributor for selling and servicing Komori products, effective 1 January, 2013. Insight Communication earlier represented Komori only in the North India territory.

Making the announcement, Sangam Khanna, director at Insight, said that preparation for this change has been in progress for the last three months, with appointment of a team of engineers based out of Mumbai, Hyderabad and Bengaluru. “With the new addition of south India territory for Komori Corporation, Insight becomes India's leading supplier of graphic art equipments and represents the best of global brands like Kodak, Screen, HP, Xerox, Schneider and Soma". He explained that his first priority is to meet each and every existing customer with a Komori installation and assure them of our services.

According to Komori, there are more than 100 brand new Komori presses installed in India in the last six years and its next target is to double this number in the next three years. “We are confident that with a combination of the latest Komori technologies like HUV, KHS-AI, Komori Digital and the launch of the 25"x 37" press LA437, and a dynamic and professional sales and services company like Insight, Komori will double its install base in the next 3 to 4 years,” said Toshiyuki Tsugawa, director and member of the Komori Corporation board.

Insight Communication, which has restructured itself to create four verticals, will address customers in publishing, packaging, commercial printing and signage segments. “Komori presses are the best as it has solutions like the recently launched LA437 for the publishing segment; the Enthrone series is ideally suited for generating  healthy profits for the commercial short-run print segment, said Ajay Aggarwal director at Insight. “ Komori will lead the packaging segment in the future with launch of the  HUV printing technology and the Komori Chambon series, which can address needs from the very basic to the most complicated boxes of the packaging segment."
