Kodak installs 21 CTPs in East and North-east

Kodak India and Insight Communications celebrated the feat of notching 21 CTP installations in East and North-east India across commercial and newspaper segments by holding a technical seminar in Guwahati, Assam.

The partners highlighted Kodak's plate processing solutions with Trendsetters 400 and 800, digital production platform of NexPress and Digimaster and Kodak Preps and Prinergy Evo.

Subir Paul, senior manager of Kodak India said: "Kodak has more than 300 installations in CTP now. The high demand of Kodak plates from Indian printers will be met by Kodak's domestic plate production facility in Goa, which is expected to be operational from June 2010. This will help Kodak to increase its service capabilities and help customers meets their production needs without any delays."

The event also saw a technical presentation on Komori range of products by Sangam Khanna, director (Komori division) of Insight highlighting Komori Hyper System - Advanced Interface (KHS-AI) and Ipex debutant Enthrone 29 press.
