It’s been two months since the third machine has been installed. KCL has embarked on an expansion plan with an investment in the fourth Ricoh C900, which will be installed soon.
Hitesh Mangan Kagathara, proprietor at KCL, said: "Ricoh machines have helped us to drive down our costs and increase our profitability by two times. The excellent working of the first C900 backed by good after-sales service and technical support tilted the scale in favour of Ricoh."

According to Kagathara, there is a growing demand for photo prints and this colour digital press de-skills a significant amount of process at KCL providing fine quality photo-prints with acute sharpness. It runs at a speed of 3,000 quality prints per hour. Also, the spare parts of the machines are easily accessible.

Avijit Mukherjee, business head, production printing business at Ricoh India, said: "Ricoh C900 operates on an EFI server-based technology, delivering optimal performance. KCL is Ricoh’s pro- partner and we share a symbiotic relationship. We together, add value to our end customer."

The firm had opted for a couple of Ricoh C900, the decision for which was taken at PrintPack 2011. The deal was signed with Ricoh’s representative in North India, RSG Solutions.
Besides the Ricoh’s, KCL is well-equipped with other digital presses, which takes the load of the 15,000 A3 sheets that it prints in a day.

KCL serves to 250 clients in Surat and has two other units based in Ahmedabad and Rajkot.
