KBA to unveil new medium-format press at Print China

The major attraction will be the unveiling of a new medium-format press, which will see a launch at the KBA manufacturing facility in Radebeul in June 2015. The new press is positioned between the Rapida 105 and the high-end Rapida 106.

 

The press manufacturer will have live demonstrations Rapida 105 press with extended capabilities and the LED-UV technology.

 

According to the company, it is presently the only manufacturer to supply sheetfed offset presses with LED-UV dryers from B2 to large formats, and can already point to a growing list of on-stream installations, including long Rapida 106 presses for full-colour 4/4 perfecting.

 

Besides this, it will showcase a new MIS CIP4 workflow solution named Complete Druck.X, which will also be available in the Chinese language.

 

On showcase will be print samples printed on the KBA RotaJET L platform for high-volume inkjet printing with web width from 895 to 1,300 mm, and modern web presses for the printing of flexible packaging from KBA-Flexotecnica, inkjet coding systems from KBA-Metronic.

 

Also, for the first time, the company will be exhibiting a folding carton gluer, the Rapida FCG 110.
