Kanan Graphics are authorised distributors for TechNova, India (for pressroom chemicals, PS plates and CTP plates) in Mumbai. Furthermore, Kanan represents Toyo Inks India, Pidilite Industries, and Printec, Brazil (manufacturer of rubber blankets). While Toyo is a manufacturer of conventional printing inks, Pidilite produces pasting, laminating and hotmelt adhesives.

Kanan is also a distributor for Arets Graphics, Belgium (manufacturer of UV inks and varnishes) and opened its office in Vapi, Gujarat this year. “The UV ink market has been a strong performer in recent years. Now with the backing of Toyo and Arets branding, it allows Kanan to set new goals,” said a positive Shah.

Shah, an industry veteran said, “The industry looks bullish”. He informed that the company has been approached by many reputed international companies for marketing tie ups. Plus the firm has received marketing rights from three US-based companies in May 2015. Shah remained tight-lipped about the marketing rights.

“We are representing each segment with the principal companies in the field where they are the world leaders. Therefore Kanan will supply only world class quality products with the best technical services,” boasted Shah.

The firm which has a strong customer base in Maharashtra, South Gujarat and Goa will launch three new products during Pamex 2015 in Mumbai. The aim, Shah said, is to become pan-India in the next ten years; plus represent “at least 15 multinational companies in consumables and machines.”
