Sangam Khanna, director and head of Komori division, Insight Communication and Print Solutions, said, “Packaging printing is the future and we are focussing on the Komori LS 32 printing press because of its 24x32 inch size. We have installed two four-colour printing presses in Delhi and Kolkata, and the six-colour with online UV coating printing press will be installed in the western part of the country.”

“It is an appropriate machine for commercial printers who are planning to enter in to packaging printing,” concluded Khanna.

The printing press is equipped with the first fully automatic plate changer and Komori’s KHS-AI (Advanced Interface) system. Offering the largest maximum paper size of any 32-inch class press, the Lithrone S32 enables a variety of impositions.

It addresses a wide range of needs, from books and magazine printing to packaging printing due to its capability of printing on both, very light and heavy stocks and can process sheets with thickness ranging from 0.04 to 0.8mm.
