The 10th edition of the exhibition for printing and allied machinery will be held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai, from 9 to 12 December, 2015.

The industry response to the development has been positive. Experts said the idea to shift Pamex to Mumbai will bode well for the print industry. Top members of IPAMA, who host PrintPack, said, “It means the old formula of one big print show (PrintPack) in Delhi and another big show (Pamex) in rest of India has been revived.”

There are other reasons as well. A top AIFMP member said, “Two of Mumbai’s premier print associations, The Bombay Master Printer’s Association and the Mumbai Mudrak Sangh have decided to work together. It's a win-win situation for both the associations, as well as the numerous printers, who are well wishers of both the associations.”

The event will be organised by the All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), in association with Print-Packaging.com. “Print-Packaging.com, being one of the focused exhibition organisers in the field of packaging and printing, will add value to the event with its rich experience in the industry. We look forward to create a new landmark in Mumbai with Pamex 2015, which promises to be bigger and better,” said AMSG Ashokan, president, AIFMP.

Pamex is a dedicated event for the Printing and Allied Machinery Industries in Asia. The exhibition will showcase generation next technologies from worldwide solution providers across various categories like pre-press, in-press and post-press segments. The show will host dedicated pavilions for label and narrow web printing and presses; paper and board converting and corrugated machinery and equipment. Flexo and gravure printing, digital presses, web offset presses, sheet fed offset presses and signage machinery and process equipment will also be widely be displayed at the event.

“We have been organising packaging and allied industry exhibition since last 12 years and being associated with AIFMP for the 2015 edition of Pamex will only add to our focus towards the printing industry,” said Anil Arora, president, Print-Packaging.com.

New Delhi-based AIFMP, which represents 59 affiliate associations across India and aims to be India’spre-eminent organization in developing cooperation among national, regional and global print specialists, has been organising Pamex for the last 23 years. The ninth edition of Pamex was hosted in 2013 in Greater Noida, Delhi-NCR.
