Indian packaging fraternity gear up for Interpack 2014

70 Indian exhibitors are gearing up for the biggest ever Interpack from 8-15 May 2014 in Dusseldorf. The packaging megashow will be bigger than ever before in its 20th edition with 2,700 exhibitors from 60 countries.

N C Saha, director, Indian Institute of Packaging said, “In 2011, IIP opened up an India pavilion with the funding of the Government of India for the Indian exhibitors at the InterPack exhibition in Dusseldorf. In InterPack 2014, there would be two India pavilions of 490sq/ft area each, one for Indian packaging machinery manufacturers and the other for Indian packaging materials manufacturers.”

The Indian pavilion will be at stall (7A 36 B25) and will feature major Indian exhibitors Specialty Polyfilms, Nichrome (India), Pakona Engineers and Indian Institute of Packaging. Messe Dusseldorf the organisers of the show can provide assistance to potential Indian visitors through their offices in Mumbai and New Delhi.

Interpack is the world's leading trade fair for the packaging industry, and is the major inspiration for the packaging industry and all related process technologies. Visitors will also be able to see the latest production tools for packaging materials, materials themselves, and services for the entire industry at the show.
