The highlight of this year’s event should undoubtedly be the Collective Stand of Indian printers at Hall 8 Stand S 989. This stand has Gopsons Papers, International Print-O-Pac, Jayant Printery, ManipalTechnologies, Multivista Global, Nutech Photolithographers, Parksons Graphics, Replika Press, Repro India and Thomson Press India attracting footfalls at the collective stand.

A matchmaking session has been organised for these print firms on Friday. These will include one-on-one meetings between the printers and potential business partners from across the globe. This initiative has been supported byFrankfurt Book Fair Academy and German Book Office in New Delhi.

Indian book print firms like Manipal Technologies and Gopson Papers have already tapped into the international market by printing two very high profile international novels. While Manipal Technologies have printed J K Rowling’s latest The Casual Vacancy for Hachette, Gopsons Papers have printed Salman Rushdie’s new title for Random House.

More than 7,000 international exhibitors, diverse new customer groups and more than 3,200 events have been scheduled. Among its many activities, the Frankfurt Academy is hosting four conferences to help international publishers find their way in the digital world.
