India bags 11 Worldstar awards

World Packaging Organisation has announced the winners for Worldstar 2018 awards. Of the record number of 187 winners, Japan has bagged 26 awards followed by China with 13 awards and Austria and India each with 11 awards.

Among the India winners, ITC Packaging and Printing Division and Huhtamaki PPL have won two Worldstar awards each. The other Indin winners with one Worldstar award are Asian Paints, Cholayil, General Mills India, ITC Limited, Kanodia Technoplast, Mondelez India Foods, and Sun Pharmaceutical Industries.

The judging session was conducted in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in November. All winners will be recognised in an awards ceremony and gala evening on 2 May 2018 during the first WPO Board Meeting of 2018, in Gold Coast, Australia, alongside the AIP National Conference.
