Hyderabad's Aakruti Digipress brings in second Scodix

Monotech announced a Scodix sale to Hyderabad-based Aakruti Digipress at the CEIF show held at the Bombay Exhibition Centre. This is Aakruti's second Scodix investment.

With this, according to Monotech's digital enhancement and finishing division, the total install number for Scodix has reached 19; of which 15 are S75  and four are S74.
 
The Scodix S75 can lay up to a 250-micron dot on a sheet with minimum sizes of 11x11.5inch to a maximum size of 20x29.5inch and a full gloss coat at 30-microns. Scodix is capable of producing 550 sheets per hour on substrates like paper, PVC, plastics ranging from 135gsm to 675gsm.
 
Reportedly, the Scodix users are generating more than USD 46 million in revenue from the digitally enhanced photo albums segment.
 
Another recent Scodix sale from Monotech was to Redin Digi Press in Warrangal, 145 km northeast of the state capital of Hyderabad.
 
At the ongoing Media Expo stand, Monotech will be launching the Pixeljet 1800TS, Ricoh’s eco-solvent printer with Ricoh printhead and will be displaying Pixeljet Power Gen4 UV LED roll-to-roll printer, Pixeljet Proton 3300L solvent printer, Pixeljet Polo with Konica Minolta printhead, and Pixeljet 1800TS eco-solvent printer, Canon iPF8410SE poster printer and Cube Pro 3D Printer.
