Open house at Renault Paper Products by Weldon and Omet

Weldon Celloplast and Omet jointly conducted an open house to demonstrate the new 10-colour full UV and all Servo Omet X-Flex narrow web flexo press installed at Renault Paper Products in Palghar.

Renault Paper Products installed Omet X-Flex to add to the capacity and cater the international clients. Mahendra Shah, director at Renault Paper Products, stated: "One of the strongest appeals of this flexo press is its remarkable turnaround time. Keeping in mind the requirements of our customers and the efficacy of products, we have to move from creative creation to execution flawlessly and in a very short time."

Over 30 label convertors like Webtech, Mumbai; Maharshi Labels, Ahmedabad; J K Fineprints; TCPL Packaging, Silvassa; The Paper Products, Thane; Arunodaya Print Pack, Hyderabad; Total Print Solutions, Navi Mumbai,; Kris Flexipack; Creative Prints, Mudrika Labels and Synergy Packaging, Silvassa witnessed applications on the Omet X-Flex narrow web flexo press during the event.

According to Amar Chajjed, director at Webtech, said: "This is the best work horse for label printing that’s available in the industry today."

Sandhya Shetty, director at Synergy Packaging, said: "The print station that combines the impression cylinder and chill roll is the source of a short web path. This gives the press an added advantage."

Jigesh Dani, marketing director at Maharshi Labels, said: "The X-Flex is a uniquely engineered machine which minimises operator intervention and is easy to operate. The registration is achieved without having to interfere in the printing unit and the wastage is minimal."
