Zeta is showcasing three unique products, the Universal File Server UB64, WebShare UB64 and PrintPreview UB64.

“WebShare UB64 is a part of Universal File Server, which, like the Swiss penknife, has many features from different software domains (collaboration, SAN, synchronisation, file management, share point) in one product. A great product for ‘virtual’ teamwork with team members working from different places (home, office, on the move), using different operating systems,” says Jatin P Vasandani of Zeta Marketing.

“Along with WebShare UB64, PrintPreview UB64 makes interaction with customer or ad agency on checking, correcting and proofing print jobs.”

The company is targeting managers from newspapers working with ad agencies, editors working with ‘creative’ or ‘maverick’ reporters and photographers, and IT heads who have to cope with ‘unreasonable’ demands.

Vasandani says the market is growing, but with a sense of caution. At the expo, he hopes that at least ten decision-makers will agree to let "their teams try out the product for a month".

A quick demo indicated that WebShare UB64, which features Quickshare link functionality enables easy file sharing with remote users over the internet. The Quickshare access provides a simple user interface for previewing, downloading, and uploading files. Quickshare lets users share files for any purpose to any remote user via a short URL sent in a pre-configured e-mail. Quickshare provides the most flexible and efficient file sharing capability to any kind of business.

WebShare's Web browser interface optimises file upload and download times because it doesn't require additional WebDAV, FTP, AFP, or SMB/CIFS connections that normally impact transfer speeds. Downloads are compressed on the fly with Helios's "zipstream" technology. It also enhances collaboration by allowing multiple users to view and access the same server data over an Internet connection.

THE BENEFITS OF WEBSHARE UB64
  • Simplified user interface for efficient file previewing and downloading
  • High security via in-house file server – no cloud storage required
  • Easy yet secure sharing of files and directories by authorized WebShare users
  • Remote previews, downloads, and/or uploads can be enabled
  • Quick remote access to specified files via short URL
  • Automated e-mail notification upon Quickshare user access

By using the company's WebShare UB2, the print server, PDF delivery and preflighting are all available online through remote access. The Zeta promises demonstrations to all representatives who visit their stall.
