The company has also tied up with Tata Capital, which will enable new and existing screen printers finance their projects on purchase of any machines from Grafica.

Grafica intends to leverage the strengths of the two products to provide elements needed by the screen printers to produce quality print without consuming too much of space and cost on transportation and packing.

Bhargav Mistry, managing director of Grafica, said: "We have been evaluating the impact of space and cost, and its constraints on working of the screen printing units and are very excited to offer the 5-in-1 Nano Screen Maker system and Nano Sharpner, which will enable superior and affordable solution set for customers."

The Nano Screen Maker system consist of mechanical stretcher, emulsion coater, screen dryer, screen exposure and screen inspector and includes two high quality aluminum frames and tension meter. "The system is mounted on a smooth castor wheel for easy mobility within the department," said Mistry.

The compact Nano Sharpner is a tool for sharpening the used squeegee rubbers and can be kept anywhere in the shop-floor. According to Mistry, it's important to sharpen the squeegees daily, because "it's the most important part of the entire screen printing process, neglected even by experienced screen printers".

Grafica's "small screen printing press" Nano Print launched in September 2010 has so far notched sales of over 150 units. "We booked orders for 27 units on the day of the launch itself," said Mistry.
