Fespa Digital 2012 will be held in Barcelona from 21-24 February 2012.
“The solutions on showcase will be the most complete solution in the market for indoor and outdoor advertising, sign and super-wide format printing, adding new capabilities in colour consistency, flexibility and economy,” said Afsal Kottal, who as business director of Percept Print Solutions, represents GMG in Middle East and India.
GMG's colour management expertise, known in the proofing sector, is one of the three key pillars of this new GMG wide-format application. The others are: an editor with expert tools and functions; and a modular growth-related GMG licensing system and integrated ink-saving function, which represents economic efficiency. “The GMG licensing is really growth-related, where one make investments only where additional capacity is needed,” said Kottal.
Although GMG solution calibrates and drives more than 750 wide-format printing devices and cutting systems making identical repetition on different output devies a reality, this product will be official launched at Fespa Digital 2012. Kottal has informed that GMG is already working with few major players in this market in India and according to him the “prospects are quite promising”.
