GMC's software to handle VDP at Termoplast, Inspire unveiled

GMC Software Technology has installed its PrintNet T software for variable data printing at Chennai-based Termoplast.

Termoplast provides labels, polybag and packaging accessories. The company turned to GMC Software Technology India in order to enter the variable data label market. This is the third installation of GMC’s software in South India and with this installation, GMC has added six installations in 2010.

Purnendu Mohanty, managing director at GMC Software Technology India, said: "Termoplast is the first variable data label provider to select GMC’s PrintNet T software in South. With the installation of PrintNet T, Termoplast can now expect improved development time, print speeds and variable data output accuracy."

Sharad Singhi, director at Termoplast, said: "With GMC Software Technology’s solution in place, we are looking forward to reduced development times and faster print speeds as well as zero error output."

Recently, GMC Software Technology announced the launch of GMC Inspire, an end-to-end customer communications management (CCM) platform.

According to GMC, this platform will enable new ways to engage customers and target markets across digital and print channels. The solution will also help businesses increase retention, accelerate acquisition and drive operational efficiency.
