GMC joins as a category sponsor for PrintWeek India Awards 2012

The annual hunt to find print’s brightest and best companies and rising stars has begun. PrintWeek India (PWI) has launched its annual event, PrintWeek India Awards 2012, that recognises the excellence in the Indian print industry.

GMC Software Technology has confirmed category sponsorship for Personalisation, VDP & Transpromo Printer of the Year – one of the 24 categories.

“The response to the last three year’s Awards events is evidence that the Awards plays a big part in raising the standard of print, distinguishes those who have produced exceptional print jobs and skills according to the Indian market needs,” said Suresh Ramakrishnan, publisher of PrintWeek India.

Purnendu Mohanty of GMC, a global company, headquartered in Switzerland, with offices throughout Europe, America and Asia, said, “We think PrintWeek India Awards is one of its kind and very exclusive because of its reach and acceptance by the print service providers. As in the previous editions, a select panel of jury comprising of print buyers and experts will evaluate print entries in 24 categories.
