“We are honestly thrilled after winning this award,” said Vishal Luther, chief executive officer, GEE7.

Scodix is a provider of digital print enhancement presses for the graphic arts Industry. The company’s digital enhancement presses and Scodix Sense solution offer high-quality enhancement capabilities.

According to Luther Scodix is a machine for those who have creative ideas in their mind but were not able to implement them because of the limitations of technology.

“After the installation of Scodix, we have gained a lot, and now, it is easy for us to apply the ideas. We can do a lot of creative work with this now. It was a great challenge for us to think out of the box and create something unique,” he added.

In its second year, the 2014 contest for the best creative work produced by Scodix customers using Scodix Sense digital print enhancement technology yielded a record-breaking number of 75 applications. Scodix users from all over the globe submitted their best work for an opportunity to demonstrate the premium quality differentiation they offer their clients, gain worldwide recognition of their work, as well as a chance to win the award.

The award is given in six different categories, namely, general commercial printing, folding carton/packaging, photo web2print, publishing, design/brand promotion, technology – special materials / media / outcome. The submissions were judged by visitors at Scodix booth at Graph Expo 14, held at Chicago in the US.

Monotech Systems is the India representative for Scodix.

The Scodix range of machines boasts of advanced jetting blocks and multiple independently controlled inkjet nozzles to deliver Scodix’s proprietary Polysense clear polymer in small drops.

“Scodix is a costly machine, but the print perfection it delivers is excellent. If you cater to creative jobs, then it is the perfect machine for you,” Luther added.

GEE7 came into existence after seven photographers came under one banner and started a digital printing company at Ludhiana in 2009. The partners are from Ludhiana, Amritsar, Jalandhar and Bhatinda, and they all have their own photo studios in different cities, while the production is done under one roof.
