Garnett extends support for PrintWeek India Awards

Garnett specialises in manufacturing high quality papers in 12 ranges, including Alchemy, Indiprint, Excel print, Ecolilne, Libreto among others.

Sheetal Mehta, group managing director at Garnett, said, "We have a legacy of more than 200 years of acumen in creating specialty papers in Otley, UK and are proud to build a stronghold in Indian Market too.”

He added: “We are excited and privileged to be associated with PrintWeek India Awards 2012 as it will give us a platform to spread awareness about Garnett’s fine paper among the Indian printing and paper stationery industry.”

Garnett is set to expand its facility in Vapi, which will double its capacity and offer Excel Print Plus special grade of paper for top-end commercial print firms.Mehta said that the company will unveil the Excel Print Plus in mid-August. Also in the pipeline are special grades of Ecoline and Libretto for book binding.

“We have applied our experience and knowledge to create a really nice product for the Indian market,” said Mehta

Garnett will contribute by supplying papers for production of programme guide, Book of the Night, Awards short-list issue of the PWI magazine, certificates, invitation and other print merchandise related to the PrintWeek India event which includes Awards and Conclave.
