Juergen Boos, chief executive officer, Frankfurt Book Fair, said, “The international publishing business is changing rapidly. To reflect these changes, Frankfurt Book Fair is introducing some major improvements. Our plans were guided by in-depth discussions with a large number of our customers. Using the methods of modern urban development, we’ve come up with our own infrastructure programme that allows us to offer exhibitors and visitors more attractive facilities, optimised traffic flow, and new opportunities to interact with fellow fairgoers starting next year, 2015.”

This year’s Frankfurt Book Fair will be held between 8-12 October 2014, with Finland as the guest of honour. Last year’s FBF saw a footfall of over 2,76,000. It also had an Indian exhibitors contingent comprising of about 60 Indian companies.
