The six-year old company has been making rapid progress in the market with an ever-increasing market share and the addition of another sophisticated platesetter is part of the company’s growth plans.“The successful functioning of our existing Kodak Trendsetter prompted us to confidently invest in the same machine again after failing to find a viable alternative after intensively scouring the market,” said Raja Kumar J, managing director, DPS.

The company located in the busy central district of Royapettah procured its first Kodak Trendsetter 800 in May 2010 and scaled its operation capacity immediately by adding another machine in September followed by two more machines in March 2011 and the recent installation in November.

“There is no alternative to the Kodak CTP for the superior performance and add to that the prompt service and support that we get from them has showed us why they are an international brand to reckon with” said Fyzee Nazar Ali, director-marketing who founded the company together with Kumar.

“The competition is extremely stiff in the market and we need to have the edge in terms of quality and in turn achieve complete client satisfaction” said Kumar.

"The use of Electra XD plate has further enhanced our stand amongst customers with claims of plate runs even greater than the one mentioned by Kodak without any compromise on the job quality” he added. The Kodak Trendsetter can expose plates to a resolution of 2400x1200 dpi and has a throughput of 42 pph with its auto-loader feature.
