Canon has more than 30 C10000 installations in India. The machine delivers high resolution of 2,400x2,400dpi at print speed up to 100 A4 images per minute in colour and mono on all supported media weights for average monthly print volume of up to 4,50,000 sheets. The maximum monthly duty cycle of the machine is up to 1.5 million.

Sidhanshu Dhall, managing partner, Wee Print, said, “We have printed more than four lakh impressions on the machine in last three months. Mostly, we receive work in 12x18-inch, but we can print 13x30-inch on the machine.”

He said the reason Wee Print decided to invest in the machine was enhanced print quality, zero colour variation and less paper jamming.

Established around three years ago, the company is run by Sidhanshu and his brother Himanshu, where Sidhanshu is responsible for accounts and finance, and Himanshu takes care of marketing and business development.

Wee Print has two digital printing presses from Xerox, and a complete binding and perforation set up in its 350 sq/ft facility. The company produces books and commercial jobs in a ratio of 30:70. Commercial jobs include marketing collaterals, brochures, menu cards, visiting cards and other jobs. Around 10 people work in the company.

Up next, Dhall said, the company plans to invest in post-press equipment to produce the final products in a faster and enhanced way.

Around 15 days back, the company also forayed into photobooks. “We have started producing small photobooks of 6x4-inches. A single photobook contains up to 100 photos. We also provide square up photos,” said Dhall.
