DB Corp sees a rise of 74.31% in first quarter of financial year 2013-14

DB Corp one of the largest print media group in the country reported a rise of 74.31% for the first quarter ended June 30, 2013 with consolidated net profit at Rs 76.09 crore.

Sudhir Agarwal, managing director, DB Corp said, “We are happy to report a strong performance in the first quarter of this fiscal that has sustained our expansion momentum. We have maintained our brand equity and leadership position in all our legacy markets as we also continue to demonstrate good growth in our emerging editions.”

Dainik Bhaskar is the largest read newspaper in the country with 19.8 million readers across India. DB Corp’s digital wing has grown steadily and has seen a significant increase in page views. Their total page views have surged to 339 million.
