One day to go for the Indo-German conference gains traction
Directors, senior executives, CEO's and top print industry experts all over India have registered for the second Indo-German conference which is to be held on 26-27 November at the Novotel Hotel in Mumbai.

This conference is being organised by pmIndia, a joint venture of Institute for Print and Media Technology and Chemnitz University of Technology, Chemnitz, Germany and Graphic Arts Technology and Education (GATE).
Of the many topics to be discussed at Indo German conference, Dr Gert Schlegel, Institute for Drucktechnology, Switzerland will speak about the role of inkjet in packaging printing.
The conference will also discuss brand protection technology, added value UV using technology, developments in flexography, inkjet technology for packaging printing. Presentations will be made by key speakers: professor and doctor Ing Arved Hubler, director, pmTUC, Chemnitz, Germany; Kiran P Prayagi, head, pmIndia and partner, Graphic Arts Technology and Education; Guenther Keppler, general manager, Heidelberg India; Venugopal Menon, vice president, Bobst India; Rajesh Singh, general manager R&D, Positive packaging along with other vital speakers.
Kiran Prayagi, head of pmIndia, said: "The conference will cover automatic colour quality assurance of packaging printing with camera systems, integrations of electronic functionalities in packaging printing (smart packaging), added value using UV technologies, pre-press, workflow technology for different applications, substrates, colour management in packaging printing, developments in flexography platemaking and printing, developments in gravure cylinder making and printing, special techniques, converting technology, sustainability and environmental solutions."
The special feature of the conference will be a 'print gallery' exhibiting sample prints.
Like the first edition, the official media partner for the conference is PrintWeek India. The conference is supported by Federal Ministry of Education.
