Dainik Bhaskar creates OOH experience for Kumbh visitors

Dainik Bhaskar, the world’s fourth largest circulated daily has created OOH delight for Simhastha Kumbh Mela event attendees. The event is scheduled from 22 April to 21 May 2016 in Ujjain.

Dainik Bhaskar carried out hoardings, banners, and beautification drive with colourful wall paintings in Haridwar, Allahabad, Nashik and Ujjain. For the event, Dainik Bhaskar had printed booklets and brochures for the pilgrims and had installed newspaper stands at the hotels.
 
Talking about the activities at the event, Vinay Maheshwari, senior vice president, sales and market development and brand marketing at Dainik Bhaskar Group, said, “We are driven by one of the core values of being connected with our stakeholders. Kumbh is an incredible platform to demonstrate that we care and hence, concentrated our efforts towards achieving it.”
 
 
This year more than 50 million people from across the globe are expected to be gathered at the event. Dainik Bhaskar started the planning for it about an year ago. After several rounds of discussions with the municipal corporation and event authorities, the plan was confirmed.
 
Dainik Bhaskar is planning for a 500-page coffee table book which will have photographs from the Kumbh and some of it will be in public domain for the first time. The coffee table book will have a rich visual depiction of all the facets from the Ujjain with reference to the Kumbh.
