“It’s reliable, versatile and flexible with high performance and lowest cost of operation vis-a-vis print quality,” he says.

Launched in 2013, the LVPI has six units installed in government site in South India, where Creed claims, 20-crore tax stamps are personalised every month. The monochrome machine can print at 600x600dpi on tax stamp labels, commercial labels, and scratch cards.

Bajaj hopes to take this platform from a monochrome label press into a multi-colour press in the short and medium term offering the customers an option of overprinting on flexo printed labels for doing versioning. “Upgrades will be available beginning 2015 for multiple heads as well as choice of inkjet systems,” said Bajaj.

Other products on display along with Vinsak LVPI, are Vinsak LSR, a 450mm wide label slitter rewinder with new value added features including 100% defect detection, matrix stripping , Razor and Scissor slitting etc.
