Colorjet promotes signage on fabric

The printer has two heads per colour in staggered positions to increase production, and uses non-polluting water-based disperse inks. Wider colour gamut of inks for vibrant colour prints, high density colours for higher coverage per litre, fast drying optimised for best performance and longevity of printheads are some of the highlighted features of this machine.
 
According to Samarth Bansal, brand manager, Colorjet India, the future of wide-format printing is in printing on fabric, which is not just eco-friendly, but also durable and easy to transport, among other advantages. He, however, agreed that the market in India as a whole is yet to wake up to the potential of printing on fabric in the signage and out of home industry. Yet, he expressed confidence that Colorjet hope to change the reality soon. “We are getting good responses from the market. We have sold five products in India. Also, we have sold three machines in Dubai. We are bringing soft signage closer to the people,” he said.
