Colorjet to launch two inkjet devices at Media Expo

Colorjet, the manufacturer of wide-format digital printers, will launch Softjet Grand soft signage printer and Polo Turbo solvent inkjet printer at Media Expo 2016 slated for 15-17 January 2016.

The two kits will be on display at hall 1, stall F12 at the Bombay Convention and Exhibition Centre, Goregaon, Mumbai.
 
The launch, according to Samarth Bansal, brand manager, Colorjet, will expand the product line and also enable the entry of entrepreneurs in soft signage business at a lower investment.
 
With the Softjet Grand, users can print directly on fabrics for soft signage business and help optimise replacement of PVC-based media. In addition to this, flexible displays can also be printed on the machine.
 
Bansal said, “The launch of the Softjet signals the company’s extension of its product line towards the soft signage product line. The machine can effortlessly print on polyester-based fabrics which can be recycled and uses environmental friendly aqueous based inks.”  
 
“Softjet Grand opens up a new business avenue of customised decorative fabrics for its users and comes in both 2.5- and 3.2-metre print width to target different market requirements,” Bansal informed.
 
The Polo Turbo is a four-colour printer with printing resolution of 1,440 dpi and can print on media with width up to 3,300 mm, with a maximum thickness of three mm. The kit can print on SAV, PVC banner, backlit film, window film and solvent based fabrics.
 
The machine is equipped with an independent drive technology, which drives each nozzle independently to achieve a production speed of up to 1,600 sq/ft per hr.
 
Colorjet has manufacturing facilities in India and China. Whereas its sales offices is spread across seven countries.
