CMYK Press enhances print capacity with digital investments

Jalgaon-based CMYK Press has invested in Konica-Minolta Bizhub 600 and Riso RZ 1070 to accelerate its digital production capacities. This is the first Konica digital press in Jalgaon.

In the Tatkal division of the CMYK Press, Konica-Minolta Bizhub 600, the print production system has replaced the Xerox DC 12. Bizhub 600 which is a sturdy machine allows a 13x47inch paper insertion.

Anand Malhara, CEO of the firm regards the investments a step to keep pace with the digital technology wave and maintain the competitive pricing and the growing market demands.

Malhara said: "We were attracted by the innovative technology of the Konica Minolta Bizhub 600 press, and it has helped us strengthen our digital print and response handling operation in Jalgaon."

"Both, Bizhub 600 and RZ 1070 are a one stop solution to cater to the instant printing needs and have increased our production capacity manifold," added Malhara.

Additionally, the company has invested in a monochrome digital duplicator, Riso RZ 1070. This machine can print images up to 600 dpi and caters to the firm's small jobs, including greeting cards, envelops and stickers.

CMYK Press, PrintWeek India Small Printer of the Year 2009, is ISO 9001/200 Agmark approved printing press and has consolidated digital, offset and screen printing under one roof.
