Chemnitz opens office in India for students

The Institute for Print and Media Technology at Chemnitz University of Technology (PMTUC), Chemnitz, Germany launched their office in Mumbai.

The office will work in collaboration with Graphics Arts Technology & Education (GATE) in India.
According to Prof Dr Arved Hübler, director of PMTUC and initiator of the India activities, "the office shall be a contact point for students from India and Germany."

Kiran Prayagi, head of PM-India and GATE is enthusiastic about the venture.

PMTUC has a co-operation with Manipal University, as well as a double degree master's programme and a scholarship programme for the exchange of German and Indian bachelor students. Additionally, a bilateral research project on standardised planning concepts for Indian newspaper printing houses was completed.
PMTUC focusses on printing technologies, colour and documents, and printed electronics.
