New Point Cards & Printers flexes print power at Pamex

The four-decade-old New Point Cards, which has a clientele of 14,000+ customers, mostly printers, from across Maharashtra and Goa, is a ‘ganging’ specialist. The firm receives orders for visiting cards produced under the brand Butterfly, during the day. It is ganged for plate processing, and printed later in the evening. The cards are finished and are ready for delivery the next morning.

To do this, the firm uses the Heidelberg Speedmaster SX 52 Anicolor installed a year ago.

“Here we are meeting fellow printers, who may have or not have, four-colour presses, and informing them that should they have work which they are unable to fulfil, we can do it for them,” said Kulkarni, who was present with his nephew Shreyas Kulkarni.

The firm houses a Xerox 1000i and in the finishing segment, it is equipped with screen units for coating, laminating machines, and a Polar cutting machine.

It showcased the different kinds of print samples it produces under the brand - Butterfly.
