With a major focus on graphic arts and Central Reprographics Department (CRD) segment, Canon would be showcasing monochrome presses, ImagePress colour, ImageRunner Advance Pro series of light production engines and Canon ImageProfgraf printers for photo quality and optimal productivity.

Ipex is about providing a springboard to profitable new opportunities. Market research is important for Canon and our customers, stated a company spokesperson.

Canon declared the introduction of a pan European ‘Business Leap' competition. Where in a formal business plan for an endeavour with digital printing, has to be submitted by the candidate. The first past the post would be rewarded with an ImageRunner Advance C9070 Pro.

According to a company release, Canon at Ipex will not be dominated by product launches. They are looking forward to giving their customers support and not endless product launches.

They shall publish the Insight report. The third Insight study carried out by Professor Frank Romano and his students at the Rochester Institute of Technology asked 840 printers, 65% of whom were from across Europe, about the impact of the recession on the printing industry.

The analysis of the survey would be published at the show and would provide a insight into how the recession had affected their European customers.

The shift to digital is evident.  Ever since the introduction of digital four years ago, it has come a long way and has is seen as a necessity now.

Canon would be operating in hall number 10 and stand CDEF270 at Ipex.
