This is Chandigarh-based Buzz IMC's latest kid on the block mydoodlez.com offers everything personalised - from notebooks, to stickers to mugs to danglers, lunch boxes, carrying bags, you name it.

Sameer Bindra, CEO, Buzz revealed, "Now up and running, it took us three years to launch the beta version of this site. While the model is that of web-to-print, unlike the other sites, which only specialise in personalised products, we go a step further and provide personalisation of the entire design."

Bindra lists the USPs of the model: a user-friendly interface, a preview option in real time, creative value addition, competitive pricing and the use of US FDA approved materials for food-related products like lunch boxes etc.

At the core of this venture is Buzz's investment in both the software and the hardware. While it tied up with a Germany-based company for the enhanced interface, the back end - the print fulfillment - is supported by the latest investment - Konica Minolta Bizhub C1070. The KM 1070 has arrived on the Buzz shopfloor less than a year ago.

The plan does not end here for Bindra. He wishes to launch this module as a shop-in-shop service, a franchise model and as a B2C service. But this is work in progress. “Data is the crux of web-to-print modules. We have leveraged our data to put together this service and that is the way to do it. Today, a traditional launch does not work for the audience. The product on offer should be able to market itself.”
