Bobst India utilised this two-day open house seminar as a platform for a world premiere of its new LILA 106 A-2 ES folder-gluer for litho laminated micro flute.

LILA 106 has been designed keeping in mind the challenges customers face while processing litho laminated or micro flute printed boxes. The machine is manufactured at the Bobst plant in Shanghai. This machine has been designed more for the Indian, South East Asia and China market, where the demand for printed micro flute boxes is growing.

Subhasis Roy, managing director at Bobst India, in his inaugural speech gave the introduction of Bobst Group and its operation in India. In his presentation, he mentioned that Bobst India has completed installation of more than 575 machines.

Venugopal Menon, vice president at Bobst India said: “Our objective of having an open house is to showcase new technology and capabilities to the packaging printers who look to upgrade their process. The printers can spend more time on machine and get better insight into machine capabilities.”

Menon added: “All the three machines showcased during the open house were sold and we could also close few orders during these two days.”

The two-day open house seminar was attended by more than 120 packaging convertors.

The Competence Centre also hosted a mini exhibition which was exhibited by Baumer India, Esko Artwork, Die-Hard Dies, SRK Technology, Pidilite, Pratham Technologies and Reliance Capital.
