In keeping with their expanding business, Bengaluru-based Ramya Reprographic is shifting into a much larger premise in Singasandra, behind Dakshin Honda, Hosur Road.

Bengaluru-based Ramya Reprographic expands to new 90,000 sq/ft factory
Close to its earlier unit of 28,000 sq/ft in Bommanahalli, the unit covers 90,000 sq/ft is a six-storey building, which will accommodate seven machines, and a production staff of 200.
Said R Narendra, the director at Ramya, "Our expanding needs include space and power, and the new site will take care of that. Earlier we’ve been handling printing jobs from multiple locations. That has been a logistical bother. Therefore, we wanted to consolidate everything under one roof."
He added that Ramya will get into post-press operations now. "We will be needing gathering and case-making machines to match our current printing needs." And that is what Ramya will be focusing on over the next 24 months.
"We don’t see any other big investments in the next year or two. But what we shall do is, look at maximum utilisation of our printing capacity and our new production space," added Narendra.
Currently, its machines include two Heidelberg SM 74 four-colour with online coating, one Dominant four-colour and a five-colour, two Dominant single colour machines, and its latest installation a four-colour Lithrone Komori with online coating.
As far as its digital turnout is concerned, Ramya turns out over 50,000 sheets a month on a Canon 7000 VP and 40% of its total turnover is toward exports.
The USP of Ramya, Narendra said, is the ability to deliver on time. "We have a system by which an email reaches the client the morning of the delivery day. The client can come an hour before the delivery time and pick up their orders. They don’t even need to call us."
