Automobile enthusiast creates a niche market with HP

Shree Chintamani Enterprises, the Pune-based digital printing firm has created a niche segment in vehicle wrap applications with the brand ‘WrapMeUp’, for which the company has invested in a HP Latex Designjet L25500 wide format printer.

According to the digital firm, car and bike wrapping is fast becoming something everyone wants to do.

Rohan Naniwadekar, design and application head at Shree Chintamani Enterprises, said, “The trend of wrapping a work vehicle or personalising own car is growing. The opportunity for wide-format printers to produce wrap work is expanding fast.”

Naniwadekar added, “With WrapMeUp vehicle colour change system, it is now possible to transform the appearance of the vehicle without the need for a costly and permanent re-spray. With more than 1,000 colours and finishes available, including carbon fibre and matt black, there is no need to paint the vehicle.”

Rohan Naniwadekar who is a bike and car aficionado and a graduate in printing engineering from PVG’s College of Engineering Technology turned his passion for vehicle wraps into a profession.

Shree Chintamani Enterprises uses HP printer and media which has been a companion of WrapMeUp since the day it's launched.

Naniwadekar said, “We have always liked the quality of the print achieved on the printer. The printing done by us is 100% eco-friendly.”

 Till date the company has wrapped 40 cars, 40 trucks, 80 bikes and 40 helmets with innovative designs.

Meanwhile, Shree Chintamani Enterprises has bagged a prestigious government order from security forces for branding of their vehicles which will perform in all kinds of terrains and temperatures.
