Art O Print picks Grafotronic’s debut Pharma2 inspection slitter-rewinder
Sweden-based finishing specialist, Grafotronic, which is represented in India by Reifenhauser Marketing, is showcasing for the first time the latest version of Pharma2 inspection slitter-rewinder.

The machine showcased at the Reifenhauser stand will be installed at Ahmadabad-based Art O Print, confirmed Gabriele Gerbella, international sales manager, Grafotronic.
“This new model is totally redesigned such that it is servo driven and the linear buffer reverses the web for fault placement and bi-directional inspection. The new linear servo buffer makes it possible to re-inspect the labels in up to 150m/min,” said Gerbella.
Equipped with AVT inspection camera, the Pharma2 has Wifi-Slitting automatic knife positioning system, which positions the full set of shear cut knives within 10 seconds.
