Gerald Iannone, director for sales in Asia Pacific at Arjotex, said, “The Polyart IML HD is a high density and blow-mould grade HDPE. The film can be printed with any conventional printing process, offset, flexo or screen.”

The other features are its chill resistant properties; is stiffer, which increases the stability for printing; has a lower orange peel appearance; and works on a wide range of bottle sizes. Iannone added, “It gives paper-like feel, so when you touch it, it does not feel like plastic. Plus, the film is more sustainable while offering better regrinding properties, which will reduce bottle weight.

Besides, Arjobex produces other range of Polyart products like digital labels which can be printed by HP Indigo, water-based and UV inkjet; self-adhesive labels for tags and labels, which are ideal for protecting goods against tampering; and wet flue cut and stack labels.

Arjobex made its Indian presence five years ago, and is now represented by Mumbai-based Srinivas Paper.
