Anaswara wins gold at NAEP Award

Last month on 25 September, at the tenth edition of National Awards for Excellence in Printing (NAEP) 2015, Anaswara Offset bagged two gold awards in poster and point of sales category; and two silver awards in brochures and business magazine category.

The event was organised by All India Federation of Master Printers (AIFMP), New Delhi and supported by the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Government of India. The Nobel Prize nominee, Prof MS Swaminathan, founder and chairman, M S Swaminathan Research Foundation, who was hailed as the “Indian Father of Green Revolution” and Dr K Sivan, director, Vikram Sarabhai Space Center, were among the chief guests present during the event at Leela Palace in Chennai.
 
The company also won a merit certificate in label category.
 
Ernakulam-based Anaswara Offset was one of the substantial winners with total 26 awards, including 12 gold medals at the KMPA Print Awards 2014, held at the Print Miracle Expo, on 13 December, 2014.
 
At the same program, Jak bagged a total of 22 awards with seven golds, along with being named the best printer of the year, best digital printer of the year and star printer of the year.
 
Further in the special awards category, Replika Press swept the book printing categories with the Sudhir Gupta award for best printing on indigenous paper, the best soft-bound book award and the best exporter of the year award.
 
Parksons Packaging, Marvel Studio and The Safire Offset rounded off the special awards by winning the best packaging printer, best screen printer and best poster printer award respectively.
