“It was beyond our expectation,” said Vimal Mehra, chairman of the managing committee for the show.

The show covered 3,000 sq/mtrs space at the Bombay Exhibition Centre in Goregaon, Mumbai. Mehra said, “The last moment demand for more space could not be met with. The show has really measured up to world class  exhibitions both in terms of display and enthusiasm shown by exhibitors and visitors alike.”

On display at the show were new products available to the ink and coating industry in terms of technology. “It will allow these players to meet demanding requirements of speed, consistent quality, value for money, environment etc,” Moreover the equipment manufacturers also show cased their new processes as well as testing machines, so vital for improving the end product.said Mehra.

With a consistent and constant flow of visitors, the stall owners will now have to reinforce their people to attend to closing and introductory handshakes for their products. “It is the first time that the manufacturers and their distribution channels realised that it will be really exciting and remunerating to cater to the gen-next, which is taking over the reins of the industry,” said Mehra.

The next edition will be even bigger claimed Mehra. “At the gala cocktail dinner and awards ceremony, the participants demanded and advised that the next event should be three times the space and promised their participation would be on a much larger scale.” The top 4 stalls were rewarded for the excellence in constructing their booth.
