AIFMP is one of the supporting associations for the Print Technology exhibition to be held from 14 to 17 August. To showcase the capacity of the Indian printers, the AIFMP will organise the India Day event during the show on 15 August.

The federation is also leading a delegation of approximately 85 persons, representing Indian printers, to the exhibition. The trip has been supported by the Ministry of MSME, Government of India, under international cooperation scheme. Under the scheme, the government will reimburse 75% of the air fare of the participants after the visit.

The idea behind the group visit is to give the printers an exposure to the latest innovations in the industry. Beside the exhibition, the group will also visit some of the printing units in Kuala Lumpur to learn more about the system of working in the country. A meeting with print leaders from Malaysia has also been arranged.

“We are hopeful that the visit to Print Technology 2014 will pave a new way for Indian printers,” said AMSG Ashokan, president of the federation.

AIFMP is also a participant in the exhibition. With visitors from 17 countries attending the event, AIFMP will not only showcase its works and achievements, but also will explore the possibilities of print export from India.
