145 Indian companies exhibited at K 2010 trade show in Germany

The German plastics industry organised the K 2010, international trade fair for plastics and rubber worldwide under the aegis of Plastics Europe Deutschland and Messe Düsseldorf.

The show was held from 27 October to 3 November.

Ulrich Reifenhäuser, chairman, exhibitor council for K 2010, asserted: "K 2010 has provided all areas of the industry with new impetus. Many unexpectedly specific contract negotiations entered into at the trade fair which speak for themselves!"

Presentations were made on new technical developments by raw material producers, machinery manufacturers and producers of technical components that fascinated the trade visitors traveling from over 100 countries. 145 Indian companies exhibited their prowess in manufacturing, dealership and chemicals.

Werner Matthias Dornscheidt, CEO & president, Messe Düsseldorf, said: "K 2010 registered 220,000 trade visitors which has exceeded expectations in the sector. The trade fair succeeded in providing strong impetus for further growth and that our exhibitors were able to do business with numerous international customers of high decision-making competence."

K 2010 got admiration from visitors for the ranges on display in the 19 exhibition halls. 97% of the experts praised the event. They acknowledged that the event had achieved the aims of their visit. Plastics look forward to a bright future as a material for creative ideas. It is energy efficient and saves resources. This insight was reflected at the show attended by exhibitors from 56 nations.
