​​Xerox shows off range of digital kit at Pamex

Xerox showcased its range of digital production presses, the Versant 180, Versant 3100, the Color C70 and D110 Copier, for the first time, Xerox also displayed, what it claimed is the most versatile A3 Colour multifunction device – the Altalink C035.

“It is capable to address the needs of small and medium-sized businesses as well as large enterprises, with a consistent user experience,” said Balaji Rajagopalan, executive director of technology, channels and international distributor operations at Xerox India. The office equipment machine, is capable of printing 30ppm at a resolution of 1200x2400dpi and media sizes. “It’s ideal for those jobbers who have to print 200 sheets per day,” said Rajagopalan. “It’s a way of building a customer base, who, when scales up, will migrate to production presses.”

Xerox also showed its Phaser 7800 press, which is capable of printing substrates weighing from 75gsm to 350gsm, and sizes from 3.5x3.9 inches to 12.6x48 inches.

Balaji concludes, “We have a plethora of digital presses, all highlighting the versatility, scalability and performance needed to meet the requirements of both commercial printing and adoption by the enterprise community including SMBs.”
