[Media Expo 2013] Roland to unveil Soljet Pro4 XF-640 at Media Expo

The Japan-based Roland DG will showcase a range of wide-format printing machines in conjunction with its Indian representative Apsom Infotex during Media Expo, Delhi 2013 slated for 27 to 29 July 2013.

Jerry Davies, managing director, Roland DG, said, “The Indian wide-format market is a highly dynamic sector with huge potential and we are very excited to be attending Media Expo for the first time with our Indian partner.”

Roland DG will exhibit five machines at the show including the newly launched Soljet Pro4 XF-640. Showcased at Fespa 2013 in London, the Soljet will be on the stands for the first time in India at the show. The 64inch wide machine boasts the advanced ink technology through which detailed images at speeds of up to 102 sq/m per hour can be achieved.

In addition, the Soljet Pro XR-640 with Roland’s print and cut technology will be demonstrated at the show. The Soljet Pro XR-640 runs on the Eco-Sol Max2 ink allowing configurations up to seven to eight colours including metallic white and metallic silver.

Besides this, there will be two RA-640 machines, one printing in a four-colour configuration with eco-solvent ink and the other showing the RA-640 as a dye-sublimation printing solution. Apart from this, VersaCamm VS-640, integrated print and cut machine will also be highlighted.

Speaking about its Indian partner, Davies said, “Apsom Infotex has engineers strategically placed across the country to ensure they can quickly and effectively respond to customers who may encounter a problem with their machine, helping reduce downtime and maximising productivity.”
